Golden hour in Hanoi is not fixed through the year. The sun sets at 17:20 in December and nearly 18:50 in June.

Winter: short and soft

From November to February golden light arrives early but lasts about forty minutes. West Lake and the Old Quarter are our two choices.

From May to August, shoot at dawn or after 17:30. Midday is the one time we never book.
